WWI – unearthing the hidden war

BBC’s run a story about an excavation that is due to take place in France. There is apparently a patch of land in La Boisselle in which trench and tunnel warfare is preserved perfectly and is practically a time capsule of what had happened in the war between 1914 and 1918.
Hopefully more untold stories that deserve to be told will be discovered and more unsung heroes given the recognition they deserve.
