According to the news, the German courts have decided to set this individual free due to serving out 18 years and for “positive development.”
I understand all this stuff about needing a second chance, but I believe things like that belong to crimes such as petty theft, car theft, unintentional manslaughter… but this is really something else.
Some people don’t need a second chance, and that usually includes people who have denied others a second chance intentionally (murder). These people need to be made an example of. That’s how they can contribute to society.
Maybe even harvest their organs or something.
