Every now and then you hear people talking about how they have found a solution to solve problems etc etc. but I find few to be truly convincing. This, however, is something I do believe that can change things. Good for 6,000 Liters. Absolutely amazing… and changes the face of not only emergency response, but for many, every day life.
Of course, there is no silver bullet. For example, suppose that we shipped ten million units to a hypothetical country which is mired in poverty and instability and then most of those units went missing, either stolen by local authorities, militias or even sold off by the recipients.
But still a very credible tool for saving and improving life.
Happy 4th of July everyone!
Yes it is from last year but you don’t get that sort of view all the time!
I made some changes to the older word lists including adding some new words.
New wordlist: General Pashto Food related phrases and nouns
Make sure you pick the lists with the Afghan flag on the side. Not only are they made by me, but they also have the largest collection of vocabulary.
Find it here!
Google: “memrise pashto” to find the wordlists. For some reason if you try to look for the Pashto language in the memrise.com browse or search feature, it doesn’t turn up.
There’s been a lot of activity in the press about Zombie attacks or incidents that are somewhat Zombie related.
So what does this ultimately prove? Is a Zombie apocalypse finally upon us?
Despite reports that say yay, as a Zombie warfare authority, I have to say no. Irregular Zombie attacks are common throughout the world and generally go unreported… dismissed as a regular violent crime.
The only thing that has changed is what news companies deem news worthy. Zombies are a hot topic these days and news companies realize this. In order to boost their website traffic they merely report what has always been a part of every day life – sporadic Zombie attacks.
Raw footage of the Zombie attack in Florida
In short, there is no need to panic. Simply stay vigilant as always. Take measures to protect yourself and your loved ones, but not at the cost of enjoying every day life.
– Ryoga has spoken.
Made some major changes to the Pashto Memrise account.
First of all, the ones that start with “Ryoga’s Pashto -” are mine. I closed my old account because it was making announcements all over Facebook about it and that I didn’t need. I added a lot more vocabulary as well for the Pashto Basic Nouns and Pashto Basic Adjectives. Go nuts!
The current ones have the Afghan flag set as the avatar.
For some odd reason I had a feeling that this site needed an entry about Chuck Norris.
Can’t wait for Expendables 2.
Jessica of Girls Generation (소녀시대) attempts to throw a pitch in a Korean baseball game.
Legitimately one of the worst first pitches ever thrown.
Another look at Jessica in a more familiar environment for her:
We’ll just say that her nails got in the way.
